Your redesign is quite interesting and quite convincing as a humanoid version of the original. Not only that, you also manged to make her more attractive. That scarf you put around her to represent the original's frown is a pretty good idea.

I didnt notice the scarf lloking like ver.1´s mouth untill i read 14-bis´s comment. yeah thats amazing idea. the wheels look cool to.

First, I made an effort in order to draw an long face prettily, but that was difficult.
Then, I hit on likening the mouth to the muffler!

When it finishes drawing all members, I will draw them in one picture.

I had a hard time in this design. And, I worried about whether everyone liked it.
